I've seen scanning lights on eBay for far cheaper, why?
True there are many variations some budget and some not. The features you will find in our scanning lights are a smooth fading effect that you dont see in others. The vehicle lights are 48 or 64 LED's which each independantly light. Water / Weather resistant and a wide temprature range.
If I’m washing the car and I get water on the light should I be worried?
No, the lights are coated in a black resin to protect from water. So, no need to worry about washing the car or going out in the rain.
Weather gets very cold here, will the light work?
Yes, the light works below freezing, and is still operational down to -10 degrees C. The light may work at far colder temperatures but has not been tested. The main control chip is rated down to -40 degrees C.
Are the blue or red LED’s a dark blue and dark red or light colors?
The Blue and Red LED's are the same that are used in huge video walls, by mixing the Red Green and Blue LED's to produce any colour, to do this the colours need to be pure colours. The LED's we use are pure colours, not a light red or blue, and not dark either. Colour is a difficult thing to describe, every colour has a wavelength, Our blue are these ones 470mn
